I Need Tips On How To Be Popular At A Private School!?

At school, I'm always jealous of this girl. She's popular at my school and everyone likes her especially boys!! I mean, what makes her so popular? What makes people so 'popular'? I sometimes wish I could be like that popular girl but I don't know how and I don't know where to start. So, are there any tips on how to be popular?

Well. I used to be at a Private School...and yo ucould say i wuz Popular....But then again its who u hang out with...somtimes you dont know if there really your freinds......Anyways. Just act liek your self....Its hard to say bc i dont know you and dont know wht you look like and everything. But if you do bc popular dont let it get to.

well, just be yourself, meet new people, and do well in school! f you want to be pretty do different things with your hair wear cuter clothes outside of school and pimp up your uniform if that is allowed. that is how i got more popular! :D

Well, be funny and a little clownish. Not too much because then you'll look dumb. Make your voice heard, don't be too quiet. If you can dress up more. Including jewelry, hats and things like that. You also have to be quick to answer questions and statements with a funny response. But not too much Cause then you wont be taken seriously.

Oh, and Be yourself. Don't be fake. Just a little advice.

hmm being 100% honest if your pretty..its a definite way to be popular, harsh but true. BUT if your really bubbly, CONFIDENT, chatty and friendly to everyone but not over the top, youl be known and generally well liked..youve to put yourself out there to be popular, fake it till you make it, sounds lik cheese but its true...also it dosnt hurt to dress well...this dosnt mean dress in designer c**p....everyone does that, just make sure the clothes fit well and look good.

i used to have the same problem. then i realized it doesn't matter. soon enough you'll be leaving high school anyway and chances are you wont see any of those people again. just be yourself and the people who care what you look like and if your popular don't matter and those who matter shouldn't care if you're popular or not.

be yourself, it's the best way to go, you'll be a lot happier when you stop worrying about what others think. i had this same problem but i finally realized that it really doesn't matter, enjoy your short time in high school as you are and do the best you can in school (which you can do better when you worry less about popularity, i found that out too. my grades went up once i decided i just wanted to be myself)

Don't change yourself to be popular. The secret to popularity is to being confident in who you are, not trying to change to be that way. If you let others know you are confident in yourself, they will respect you and that's pretty much what popularity is.

be different, be interesting, be yourself. When with others, act secure and sure of yourself..even if you don't feel that way, act like you are. The MORE you believe in yourself and what you like, what you say, what you stand for, what you like- the more you will find that you'll be convincing them to do the same. Then soon enough you'll have your followers, so you become the leader. Stand strong, easy, and likable. More importantly, I know we've heard it a thousand times....but, it's true- "If you believe it, they'll believe it." Good luck!

To be popular all you need to do is to show interest in other students' lives--make them feel good about themselves. The other part is to not take it personally if they make fun onf you--do not take yourself seriously.

She is being herself and has confidence in who she is. Stop being Jealous, You are not her. Start being you, have confidence that you are as good as anyone but not better don't try to be anything. Trying means its not natural. be giving but expect nothing in return. Be happy with you and others will be happy to be with you. It is not a competition. If you try to make it one you will always lose. IMO

im not racist or anything but most black girls are popular ive never seen a white girl thats popular ive seen mexican girls because they hang out with back folks i say u should too.

1)do not be something you're not. if you're a fake then chances are your friends are gonna be fake cuz they're not friends with the real you.

2)be outgoing and spontaneous but not annoying

3)do not look down on anyone or assume you're better

4)be friends with EVERYONE. even the geeks and nerds or the goth kids. but be yourself. chances are that girl that your jealous of is a fake. don't be like her. there's no satisfaction in getting attention for being some one you're not

Pretty skinny gurls are usually popular and girls who say cool things and what not. I noticed that I was popular by being unquie. Just be yourslef and express yourself...dont be quiet and basful.
