I Need Your Opinion On something...... .(muscle building).....PLEASE HELP!!? ?

Please help me..... I'm desperate?

so i just made my new training programme as my old one was totally messed up......

my aim is to try and build muscle. especially upper body. i basicly need to know how long it will take for me to notice a difference and if the programme will actually help me.

this is the programme. all of the excersizes are at the heaviest weight possible.

monday- chest, abs

BENCH PRESS, INCLINE BENCH PRESS, PRESS UPS, HANGING LEG RAISES, CRUNCHES, OBLIQUE CRUNCHES.

tuesday- rest

wednesday- back, trapizeus

LAT PULL DOWNS, BEHIND NECK PULL DOWNS, SHOULDER SHRUGS

thursday- triceps, legs

TRICEP PULL DOWNS, CLOSE GRIP BENCH PRESS, TRICEP DIPS, LEG EXTENSIONS, CALF RAISES, HAMSTRING CURL.

friday- chest, abs

SQUATS, HANGING LEG RAISES, CRUNCHES, OBLIQUE CRUNCHES, BENCH PRESS, INCLINE BENCH PRESS, PRESS UPS.

saturday- shoulders, biceps

SHOULDER PRESS, STANDING BARBELL CURLS, CABLE PULL DOWN.

sunday- rest.

All exercises are done with 4 sets of 8-10 reps.

most importantly, will it work and how long will it take to notice a difference in my body shape...???

  1. Doing all that you will probably strain your muscles it is healthier to progress slowly than to launch into things, which would you rather? Strained muscles so you can't do any of that? Or Do it slowly over time and do it in a healthy way?

  3. you want your muscles to be more toned you mean? You want to build muscles for appearances sake? If so you need to do more reps on a lighter weight and less sets like 22 reps and 2 or3 sets. this will improve tone but if you just want bigger muscles and not as defined you should do what you are doing you will be bigger but you muscles wont look at defined.

  4. when it comes to muscle building, yes, the workouts are a big part but also another big part is the amount of sets and reps. if u want big muscles and\or strength, you should make at least 5 sets for each workout with high weight from 5-7 reps each. that way ur muscles will grow. When ur muscles start to hurt (not become sore) thats when ur doing something
