I am going to be in london on august 12th until august 16th with a friend, shes a girl and i want her to have a nice room. We are both 17 so that might make a big difference. Being young, i don't have too much to spend on a room but i am willing to spend that bit more to give her a good place to stay, Please help, we don't have long left and sleeping on the streets probably won't charm her.Yeah, i have checked out hostels, but they are typically bad quality, i would feel like a jerk making her stay in one of them, sleeping on a bunk =/

i have found a few hotels for around 50 - 60 pounds a night which are ok, but i am determined to find better

  2. go to premier inn , they are very nice and quite cheap. i went to the premier inn in edgware, and it is very nice!! i dont know if there is one in central london, but the one in edgware its only about 15 mins away from the central.(with train)  i think its 66 per night. something like that

  3. Try Travelodge or the Queen Mary Uni of London. Its dorm rooms but theyre nice.

  4. In central London 50-60 GBP for a twin is difficult (even if the bathroom is down the hall).

    -------------------

Budget hotels in central london where you can walk to most things are at a premium and are often booked well in advance. The "Royal Adelphi" and "Seven Dials" come to mind.

Imperial Hotels in Bloomsbury has a small chain of 6 hotels. The "County" hotel is more like a hostal.

    ---------

Premier Inn is the largest budget hotel chain in UK. The central London locations are very often booked and they are usually well over 100 pounds.
