  1. Buy your club where they have a launch monitor and pick the one with the best ball flight.

  2. AK TIGER IS E NOT THE BEST GOLFER YOUS COPULD GET ALONG GREAT WITH DINNER AND SLEEP

  3. try a 14 degree 3 wood , got to old to hit driver . went to 3 wood , fairway , no need to spend 600 on club to hit ball 20 yards deeper into rough . added 5th wedge strange combo works for ancient guy .

  4. Look into the new "Square Drivers" they are amazing. They actually are much easier to hit than anything else I have ever hit.  All they do is go straight and long.  As far as draw, fade or neutral.....that depends on your swing and shape of your shot. I do agree that at this point (you being a 19) it would be good to get a lesson before you decide.  But, if you opt not to, then at least go hit the Square Drivers.

    Good luck

  5. I agree with Snorkle the square drivers are great for hittings the ball straight.  Other drivers that have a high MOI(moment of inertia) number will also knock the ball long and straight, such as the Cobra Speed series or the Cleveland Hi-Bore XL.  I've got a Hi-Bore XL and it's one of the best driversI've ever hit and at $200 its alot cheaper than the square drivers, but the look and sound is something to get used to.  Golf Digest just put out there 'Hot List' for 2008 with all the equipment thats new for this year.  Go to their website and you can see that list ans the 2007 list too.

  6. WELL DRIVER HELP IS A LITTLE MORE HELP THAN YOU NEED AT A 19 HANDICAP. IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER I'M NOT DISCOURAGING YOU . DON'T GO OUT AND THINK IF YOU BUY A BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE DRIVER YOUR GOING TO MAGICALLY BECOME A 9 HANDICAPPER OVER NIGHT. WORK ON YOUR GAME GO TO THE RANGE AND TAKE SOME LESSONS. HERE IS A LITTLE CHALLENGE FOR YOU. I'M NOT JOKING JUST TRY THIS ONE TIME PLEASE. WHAT IS THE CLUB IN YOUR BAG THAT YOU HIT THE MOST CONSISTENT? LETS SAY ITS A 7 IRON AND YOU HIT THAT 150 YARDS EVERYTIME DOWN THE MIDDLE. OKAY TAKE THAT 7 IRON OR BEST CLUB AND PLAY AN ENTIRE ROUND WITH IT. YES THE ENTIRE ROUND WITH THE EXCEPTION OF OUT OF TRAPS AND PUTTING. SEE WHAT YOU SCORE? IF YOU REALLY DO IT AND DONT CHEAT YOURSELF YOU WILL PROBABLY BREAK 100 AND POSSIBLY DO BETTER THAN THAT.

  7. Callaway Golf Clubs are awesome.  I hit 10x's as far with one of those.  Go to a used club store for a cheaper one otherwise they are EXPENSIVE.

  8. it depends on your shot shape if you fade or slice you will want the draw if you hook it you want the fade if your neither  you want the neutral........BUT FIRST go to a golf store( I am lucky to have a great shop with a real range)and try some clubs with different shafts the shaft is about 85% of what your shot shape is Like if you swing fast and have  a reg shaft most likely you will fade or slice or slow swing and stiff you will hook or draw a low ball flight most likely the shaft is a high kick point or a very high ball flight the shaft is most likey a low kick point so go spend a few bucks on a fitting you will suprised at how much a fitting will help get rid of problems a good fitter will set you up with the club for your game

  9. what type of shot do you ussally play with your driver short and stubby long and deep to the right or left not enuf info to answer the other guy had a good idea hit the ball straight consistantly and you will score lower but if you only play with 1 club you wont learn to use the rest so go to the range and practice use a slo methodical swing to get the feel and take some lessons

  10. slow your backswing down

  11. well if you slice then you need draw if you hit ti straight then you need a neutral or if you draw get a slice driver

I like the R7 series such as the R7 superquad thats my favourite.

You should try some of your friends or ask your pro to try some out.

  12. Perhaps a 3 wood might be best for now.
