  1. 6/13 + 17/26 =

You have to find the common denominator, which is 26. So you multiply 6/13 by 2/2 to make it have the denominator of 26: 12/26

    Rewrite the equation: 12/26 + 17/26 =

    Add 12 to 17: 29

Now you put it over 26: 29/26

    29/26 = 1 3/26

  2. find common denominator

    12/26+17/26

    29/26

  3. ok. so the 1st thing u need to do is find a common deminator which is 26. since i multiplied 13 by 2, that means that i have to multiply 6 by 2. now the problem can b set up as: 12/26+17/26. now u add 12 n 17 n u get 29. so the answer is: 29/26. now, if u wanna put the answer into a mixed fraction u would do this:

first step: c how many times 26 goes into 29, that would b only once.

    second step: subtract 26 from 29 n u 3 would b left over.

so here is the answer in a mixed fraction term: 1 3/26.
