I Need help with my dodge stratus!!! Please Help!!!!!?

Question

I just got a computer for it and it turned on but as soon as it turned on it turned off and it did that like three or four times and after all those times it doesn't want to start no more and yes the battery is charged. Please help i already put alot of money and time on this car i want to fix it and get rid of it asap, dodge is a piece of $#!+.

Does it stay running if you work the gas pedal with your foot? Sometimes the new computer has to 'learn' how to idle.

uhm buy a bomb place it underneath the car and walk a safe distance and boom problem taken care of!

Your computer is coded to your remote door fob. If the codes are not right, it will lock your computer after 3 times. A dealer has to code it for you. You did not state that you had a dealer install it. But they can fix those codes for you and you can be on your way. I learned this by the dealer itself when a lady had a bad remote keyless entry. It only allows three tries before it is locked.  This is your problem. And now you know how to fix it.

I am shocked to find how many shade tree mechanics are ignorant on todays high tech vehicles but still think they can fix them.*sad*

Well that sounds like you have a bad ground or ignition module. I would never change an ECM without it being diagnosed from a dealership. It also could be fuel related. I would pull a plug wire and hold it off of a ground with pliers or something, a very small distance, and see if you get a spark. Also before you do all that. put a real small amount of gas in the intake and see if it fires off. If it does, you may have a crank or cam or o2 sensor or fuel pressure problem. If not check for spark.
