  1. Newspaper delivery, but that has gone downhill.

Expand the lawn mowing to include other lawn care like fertilizer application.

    Pet sitting, dog walking.

Sorry, in the USA, there is not much until after you turn 16.

  2. Maybe 12 is a bit young but if you have access to a computer you could write your own blog, get one at  http://www.blogger.com   Tell people about your blog/diary and get people to visit it!  Write a new entry every day or so on your favorite topics.

On blogger blogs you can easily install Adsense ads that will earn you money.  Visit  http://www.Adsense.com   When people click on these ads, you get paid!

A great site for ads to put on your blog is  http://www.clixGalore.com   Copy and paste the codes of your favorite ads and put these on your blog too!  When anyone clicks on one of these ads and makes a purchase, you get paid a commission.

Now, some of these ideas may seem a bit advanced at first but getting an internet education at an early age can be very advantageous!  Getting some assistance from a trusted adult may be the way to go here!?

Other ideas for a 12 year old to make money include:

    * Walk people's dogs for money.

    * Offer to do odd jobs (besides mowing) for your neighbors.

    * Wash cars with a friend.

    * Find somebody that has regular market stalls at the local markets and politely ask if they would sell your homemade biscuits or cakes on the stall.

    * Collect aluminum soft drink cans for recycling.

    Good luck to you!

    Regards,

    Dave.

  3. baby sit, dog sit, offer to walk dogs, garage sale, mow lawns, sell lemonade, clean houses, clean garages, pull weeds, ebay, a dishwasher at a restaurant(some do hire), paper route, wash inside and clean outside of cars, some fast food places hire, make crafts and sell them house to house.

There are many opportunities, just find something you like to do and go from there. Im 14 and I started trying to make money a few months ago. I like to excercise, so I decided to mow lawns for neighbors(its not neccessarily something that I liKe to do though) But I do like to sell things, and I often do garage sales. Just find something you like and work hard at it, if you work hard you will do well BTW i just made 220 dollars at a garage sale with my brother, and I now have around 1,500 dollars. Good Luck!

  4. When our kids were your age, they were capable of doing all kinds of jobs that many people would pay for someone to do.

Figure out what jobs your neighbors probably have but don't want to do themselves. It can be something yucky, time-consuming, or always able to wait (but has already waited too long).

Which of those jobs are you able and willing to do? What would you charge? What might your expenses be, if any? Print up flyers and stick them in people's door handles (not in mailboxes) saying what you do, who you are, and how they can contact you.

    Jobs to consider:

Yucky category: clean up dog waste in the yard; clean oven;  sweep, scrub, and wax floors; shampoo carpets

Time-consuming: defrost refrigerator; empty refrigerator, keeping items cold, wipe down all shelves, and re-fill; empty and reorganize coat closet

Deferred too long: polish all the shoes in the whole house; trim trees and hedges; weed garden by hand

Look around you--there are jobs your neighbors aren't doing that they might pay someone to do, if they trusted that person. Many will trust you with outdoors jobs before indoor ones.
