Question:

I Need to Loose weight !! Help ?

Ok so I'm average Weight for my age on my BMI but if i carry on eating and living my life like i do now soon it will tip over in about 4 pounds i will be classed overweight i eat lots i eat out boredom i never exercise and i don't know how to carry on I'm 12 going 13 and I'm 8 and a half stone I Am 5 foot 3 and 163 cm What exercises and eating regimes do you think i should do

  1. I've heard of really good reviews of the Wii Fit. I've tried it at my friends house. Its fun and much better than going to the gym.

    Also find If I just live of fruit and veg your bound to get bored. All I'd do is eat exactly what you eat now just in a smaller proportion :)

    You'll still enjoy everything you eat, and loose whatever weight you want to loose

    I find that the best way. :)


  2. Well, your weight seems reasonable it's not really that overweight. If you want to lose weight then just get good exercise. Before bed do like 50 sit ups or do squats or use a skipping rope. I'm 13 right now and I weigh just over 7 and I'm about the same height as you. You don't need to lose too much weight. Just get any exercise, maybe join like a trampoline class or something. Anything really.  

  3. well you sound exactly like me i lost 15 pounds this summer by exercising everyday and eating well, of course this summer you want to eat what you want and so I did. But I did it in small portions. instead of having 2 burgers i had 1 instead of having 3 scoops of ice cream i had 1 and as you exercise and eat small you lose. and you don't notice right away but you do lose. I exercised for 1 hour a day and i got my moves from 17 magazine and they have good moves there. swimming is GREAT. if you have a chance to swim go for it. it's fun and you lose so many calories. i am the same age, same height and i thought i had to lose weight because everybody in my class picked on me cause i was thicker than some of the girls in my class. If you don't want to change don't but in my case i didn't like the way i looked so i decided to do something about it. i ended up taking 15 ponds off my body in like less then 4 months. when you lose u gain self esteem and your confident. i love the way i look and i think you can to. hope I helped ;)      

  4. If you want to loose wight, try the Paul Mckenna diet.

    I am not jocking, I lost 15 kgs in a year. (sorry I don't know how to convert that into pounds.....).

    The "diet" is just common sense, you eat really slowly (you can nealy eat what ever you like except for ice cream.) you should chew a piece of food about 20 times before swallowing it. You must enjoy your food.

    Stop when your stomach feels full. (This is VERY important).

    Because you eat slower, your stomach will actually feel full quicker (it's got something to do with the nerves in your stomach.).

    From now on you must eat like this, slowly you will get used to it. (in about a week).

    You will eat less but be fuller.

    if during the day you feel peckish, drink a glass of water, if you are still hungry, eat.

    You could also introduce exercise into your life a bit more (walking those extra yards, housework, going to the swimming pool with friends...etc....)

    Please stick to this.

    the trick about this diet, is that you are teaching your body to consume a correct amouunt of food. You must not get starving during the day, because your body will believe that you are starving, and put some of your food into reserves (AKA fat).

    a crash diet does as stated above
