there are alot of good phones out there these days, especially touch phones. but what ever you do, save yourself time and money and DONT get the ipone, alot of my friends ran out to buy one when it first came out and now they are really regretting it.

the lg prada is pretty sweet,

what ever you choose, ask the people behind the counter if you can have a play with it too see if you like it.

Whatever you do NOT THE GLYDE it  freezes up and it just is a bad phone

disregard what learin m said....the glyde is a great inexpensive phone that has a touch screen, i have one and have had no problems with it.  if you would like to get a better phone than that you could get the dare which is a nice touch screen. the best touch screen phone (in my opinion) is the voyager.  my brother has one and is in love with it. he has the premium plan which is about 100 dollars a month and he gets everything! mobile TV, unlimited texting, VZ navigator and much more! the glyde and the voyager both have keyboards that flip or slide to appear, but the dare doesn't which may make it a little tough for texting. during texting on the glyde, the keyboard is little small and your thumbs hit the top of the phone, which is just a small downside.  the voyager is a sleek, and very portable phone with an easy to see and use flip out keyboard. the touch screen is very responsive and i highly recommend the premium plan if you were to get the verizon voyager. BTW all the phones i recommended are all verizon because it really does have the best service in most places, so you should transfer to verizon if you aren't already. good luck in finding the right phone for yourself
