  1. alopecia areata ,

  2. Well i really hope and pray nothing is wrong..but when i was younger my lil sister had a bald spot right over her ear on her head..she hated it she still has it but has always covered it nicely =) so maybe its just her hair that dosent want to grow there and God bless all your children!

  3. If the spots are in the size of a  quarter and has a smooth surface. Check out the images in the website below, if its similar then it must be Alopecia Areata.

My bro managed to find a website called http://www.ALOPECIA-AREATA-CURE.com when he had the same problem that explains about the condition and suggests treatment. He gave it a try and to all our surprise he recovered.

Its quite informative. You might want to give it a try.

  4. ringworm

  5. Sometimes this can happen when people are greatly stressed, from a lack of vitamins, or allergy to shampoo.

These things should be checked first.  My guess is stress, considering what your family is going through.

One other suggestion, check to see if someone is mistreating her by pulling her hair at school or play.
