I/O device is missing

Question

i have used this MP3 for at least 5 years, and i do love it very much. one time i did the music transfer and i suddenly stop it "instantly" , since then whenever i plugged the MP3 in the PC. It said that new hard hard had been installed and ready to use, but then i try to open it the error has occur as it mentioned: an I/O device error and can not open? please helpme out. thanks
