  1. Go into 'run' and type 'cmd' then in the window that opens type 'ipconfig' and enter.

That's how it is for XP, i'm sure its not far off for vista

  2. Run Command Prompt..

    Typed..  ipconfig

    =]

  3. simply google ''what is my ip''....

  4. www.whatismyip.com is your external IP. Note that if you're using a dynamic IP it'll change everytime you restart your router/PC.

  5. put cmd in RUN command then click OK at the DOS prompt type ipconfig , if the run command doesn't show at the start menu , put your mouse over the start menu and right click choosing properties

left click properties then highlight run in the menu and tick it . don't forget to ok it after .

  6. I would just goto http://www.cmyip.com a very simple website.

  7. Click start and go to control panel, after that click on network connections then it will show you your connections then click on which ever one you have and after click on the support tab and it should say u Ip adress there. Or go to MS-dos or command and type in Ipconfig /renew and then press enter and it will show you your ip address
