I PHONE ..HELP how do i assign a ring tone its killing me ?

the apple i phone i got i cant assign rintones .,... or send and receive picture msgs and bluetooth doesnt work...

The bluetooth on the iPhone is restricted to connecting to Audio Devices only to PREVENT files being transferred (such as copy protected music).

at the moment SMS messages cannot support MMS (picture messages) but this is being addresed we hear in the 2.1 software (they need to ensure you cant send copyrighted files).

IT is possible to assign a single ringotne via the settings pad to a global setting but to assign custom ringtones you need to do this in the contacts settings.

From the iPhone home screen, tap the Phone icon.

In the Phone application, tap the contacts icon in the bottom center.

From your contacts list, select the person who you want to assign a ringtone to.

When that person’s contact information appears, tap the Edit button in the top right corner.

When the contact information is editable, you will see an item below their phone number that reads “Assign Ringtone.” Tap that.

When you do, the list of iPhone ringtones available to you will be displayed. Select the one you want.

When you have selected the ringtone, tap the Info icon in the top left. This will return you to the person’s contact information.

Tap the Done icon in the top right and you will have succeeded in assigning a new ringtone to that person.

first off, u cant recieve or send pics with iphone, and the bluetooth is for the apple bluetooth headset only, not 4 connectin 2 other phones and u have to buy ringtones

1) download your favorite song from limewire or your favorite mp3 downloading program

2) upload the mp3 file and use Ventone's FREE Ringtone Creator

3) after you've made your mp3 ringtone, go to your "My Ventones.com" page where you will see your list of created ringtones.

Click on the ringtone,

6) Go to itunes, and Import the iphone ringtone that you downloaded from Ventones and you will automatically see it listed under Ringtones category in iTunes.
