I REALLY WANT to get into Quinnipiac University, help please.?

Question

SAT's arnt great, and im retaking them but i got a 520 in math, 490 in critical reading and 430 in writing (that score really blows, but thats what i get for not getting any sleep b4 sat's and not taking PSAT's). i have a 3.0 GPA, i plan doing a college interview with them, tons of extracurricular activities including football track baseball and soccer, and im president of the ski & snowboard club and im join yearbook this year. ANY HINTS ON HOW TO BETTER MY CHANCES TO GET IN?!?!?!?!? this is the school of my dreams, if i dont get in, im gonna have a heart attack.

Make sure you can say what differentiates you from other candidates. What can you bring tot he school that another student can't. Think of it as though you are marketing yourself, and put your best foot forward. What makes you unique? What do you want to go to Quinnipiac? What drew you to the school? Why are you and Quinnipiac a perfect fit? For example if you want to major in Math and they have a great math department you should sit in a class, talk to several students, meet with the chair of the department. Let the school see that you are serious about their school and being a student there. Also, getting into college is extremely hard for there is a lot of competition. Make sure you have second and third and 4th etc choices of schools. The important thing is to have a back-up plan. Hope this helps.

for your interview be CONFIDENT

NEVER EVER under any circumstances sayyou could have done better on your SATs if you studied more if you got more sleep, it shows you weren't prepared.  its better to be prepared and fail then not prepare and fail atleast in the Universities eyes.

but Confidence is key, walk in with your head held high and youll do fine
