  1. my advice:

take one day: dont eat anything...dont drink anything other than water....lots of water....

keep active...clean the house...walk around town....dance.....stand up and play with your hair....do antyhing to keep busy.....go to bed super early...get like 11 hours of solid sleep....

then next day....eat only 5 small portions of food and spread them out during the course of the day.....only eat as much as you could fit into one of your hands.....eat healthy food only though for this one day

then the next day....when you wake up have a large healthy breakfast...and meditate: tell yourself...you went 2 days on minimal amounts of calories...and you dont need the cake or the soda or the high empty calories....tell yourself you are starting over and going to live your life by your own means....you dont need the junk food to make you happy.....when you feel empty inside....like you just want something sweet to fill the void....go find someone to talk to.....ANYONE

go bug your mom...help her with something....talk about stupid stuff....call a friend.....but keep on your feet..you burn calories just from standing. and if you are sitting down you will be doing nothing and will be keeping the weight you already have

only drink one large glass of milk per day

when pizza is the only thing for dinner...eat half a slice and then go do something and finish the other half later on...it will keep you from eating more than a few slices if you are to space things out quite a bit

and...dont be afraid to skip a meal once in a while...if you eat a healthy large breakfast...you can get away with only snacking a little bit during the day.....you DONT have to eat 4 square meals a day....despite what people might tell you.....

what some people eat for one meal is enough calories to get a normal sized person through an entire 2 days!!!

juice is high in sugar and calories like you said...you dont need it...but soda is a million times worse!!! soda has caffeine..sugar, and carbonation...caffiene and carbonation slow down your metabolism by a h**l of a lot...and there is no nutrients in the soda at all

a good tip? buy a big box of whole wheat crackers...they taste like sh*t which works for keeping you from eating like crazy..when you are bored and want a snack or when you are starving...eat a couple crackers with water first it will slow your appetite so you dont eat so much of the good stuff and it will also help in your digestion and is very healthy and good for you

if you make yourself eat something gross like wheat crackers when you are starving it will keep you from overeating and will prevent you from eating because you are bored or lonely

  2. Girl, i know i have the same problem! just eliminate all bad foods, dont even bring them into the house, if thats not an options (living with family or other people) then think about it before you eat it, say do i really need this, then think about losing weight and your goal. if you always have the urge to snack (i know i do! haha) buy things that are fat free or low fat, like pretzels, yogurt, fruits and all that sort of thing!

    hope this helps!

  3. Going cold turkey on any type of super delicious food is definitely going to make you go back to eating them, and possibly even more next time around.

My advice: Don't drop them, reduce them. Reduce how much you eat. Say you ate 3 burgers in a meal, just portion out 2 burgers for something more healthier.

Also be sure to jog a lot too. If you can, run 3-4 miles a week with a break in between days. It might be hard to get in the mood but force yourself to start jogging that mile, and your body's endorphins will motivate you to do the rest. ^_^

  4. i have the same problem!!! heres what ive found works pretty good

if you crave something sweet like ice cream--try frozen cool whip (lite or fat free is best) its hundreds of calories less per container and is still sweet and has the same texture!

if you want something salty, try lite popcorn because its not that bad for you and is pretty low in calories! quaker snack bites are really good too. especially if youre craving something like chips!

if you want a candy bar, try a protein bar instead. its easy to get coupons for them on ebay and theres a certain kind i get a lot--met rx pure protein that has 1g of sugar, 19g of protein, and 0g trans fat so theyre super good for you and keep you full to bring down your cravings!

if you want a yummy drink from starbucks, try mixing coolwhip with cold flavored coffee--i always brew some flavored coffee and leave it in the fridge just for this purpose

if you really need soda, try something like coke zero that has no caffeine, sugar, or calories and try to limit the amount you drink per day so you get used to not having it as much.

the 'cold-turkey' method of quitting never works and never put yourself on a 'diet' because youre more likely to go back to old habits that way. try to eat more fruits and veggies and if you have the munchies, try eating something with fruit or veggies like peanut butter and celery, apples and caramel or peanut butter, carrots and dip, etc because even though peanut butter, dip, and caramel arent that great for you, theyre better than eating a bag of chips!!

try looking for a new exersice plan because the same old routine gets boring after a while and then you dont feel as motivated to do it.

    hope this helped! :]
