It Is A Note Pad File I Am Trying To Open It Has All My Bloody Passwords And By The Way I Clean Installed Vista Home Basic

Me Open It When I Open It Says Access Denied I Am Administrator And Have Turned Of The U.A.C Bull c**p And I Have Tried Giving Permission Via Right Click Properties And I Have Opened Note Pad As To Run As Administrator And Then Opened The File And Still No Success Can You All Try Your Hardest To Help Me Please I Would Really Appreciate It I Really Need The File

  1. have you cheacked you fire wall isent bloking it?

    I'm really no expert but my fire wall has blocked stuff before.


  2. Can you copy the file? Paste a copy on your desktop and try to open it from there.

  3. Typical Vista.  I dont know why its giving u a problem, it shouldn't for a text file.  

    Try this, where is the file saved, for some reason even as an administrator, Vista has a problem with opening some documents saved on the root directory of the C drive, make sure the file is in your documents folder.   If it's in there then do what BK says if that doesnt work, easiest thing would be to copy the file to a USB drive and open it with another computer.
