I SLIGHTLY sprayed a cockroach with Raid, was it enough?

Question

So there was a roach on my nightstand and by the time I got to it with my bottle of Raid it was running away so all i got was a slight spray on its backside/behind. Is this enough? It was a roach the length of my pinky and really thick and it was LIGHT BROWN. egh disgusting. please let me know, im not sleepign on my room tonight..

if the roaches survived when the dinos didnt, i think you are going to need a lot more than slighty spraying them

you should spray it directly in the face even just slightly.

I used to wonder the same thing... you know  that you sprayed enough when the pest slows down and eventually stops moving. There isn't a clear way to find out if whether or not you sprayed enough but chances are you didn't.

the last i checked a roach wasn't a rodent so why are you asking that question here?  this is the rodent question section..but to answer your question yea you may have killed that one but where theres one theres many.

oh my gosh! 0.0 pinky size .. i hope it was enough to take care of that thing. i wouldn't want it lingering in my bedroom. best of wishes.

It may have been enough.  The spray only takes a little to kill, but it does take a little time also.  Good luck.

i was wondering the same thing

like 10 mins ago one ran through the room and i got  its back for like a second dont know how much good that did ...and yestarday one ran out of the fireplace i wont sleep well for ages i  think ill call in pest controll

I hate to say, but if there's one on your nightstand, there's probably a lot more in your house. I'm not trying to scare you - just being a realist. I would call pest exterminator service in the morning. I know there's stuff that you can buy yourself (if you can't afford a service). But, you really have to get all corners of your house (and the outside). If you go to a hardware store they will recommend the right stuff to use.

roaches can survive doses of radiation lethal to humans, i doubt some raid is gonna stop it
