I STILL haven't received my tax refund...?

Question

When I log on to check the "where's my refund" tab - it says there is a delay, to call and mention code 1121. I've called endlessly only to get the run around from people who really don't know whats going on either... I have no idea what is going on, and I did my taxes at a tax office so I'm sure they wouldn't have made a mistake that would delay the process 6 months now... Is anyone else experiencing this or am I just out-of-luck alone on this one...

Well, first of all don't be so sure a tax prep place didn't make a mistake, plus it's possible that some of the info you gave them isn't correct.  Didn't you get a letter by now asking for more info on something about your return?

If you can't get an answer from anyone else, call the Taxpayer Advocate's office at 1-877-777-4778.  They are probably swamped about now also, so it might take them awhile to respond

don't call Taxpayer advocate they can't do anything for you at this time, you need to make sure that you have filed all your tax returns from 2002 thru 2006, if you have then IRS is holdiing your refund for unfiled tax returns, and you must file all your tax returns,  you must be in full compliance to receive your refund/rebate.  Call again at 1-800-829-1954 and they will provide you with the 800 or  866 phone number to call.
