I See That Most Dancers Get a Bad Rep --?

Question

most of the ones I know go to college and take care of their kiddos. So why is it that Dancers/Stripper always get a bad rap?

Don't get me wrong - there are alot of dancers and such doing drugs, prostituting and what not.

What is your opinion on dancers/strippers?????

Okay, I'm sorry but you have it all wrong. Dancers and strippers are two totally different catagories. Stripping has almost nothing to do with actual dance. Dance is such a beautiful artform practiced by many people in every country. There are so many types of dancing like ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, lyrical, bollywood, ballroom, latin, country western, national, tarantella... i could go on. Strippers are one VERY small portion of exotic dancers who get bad reps because they do bad things. Also, prostituting isn't even a form of dance. Plus, in art schools, the highest amount of students on the honor roll are dancers.

I think is pathetic and degrading and there is no excuse to strip. cant tell me that their isnt another job out there. colleges offer a lot of jobs to students, restaurants and whatnot are hiring all the time. i rather work at mcdonalds and atleast be able to respect myself and feel good about myself and be respected by others.

I may be young but i have never heard of that many problems with dancers, and  i have been dancing for 7 years.
