  1. You can. But do you think that this kind of relationship is good publicity and career wise for both of you? Its better for you to move on with the great reference from her and let bygones be bygones.

  2. Unless you had some sort of contracr you are considered an "Employee at Will"  Your work can fire you at any time they desire.  The burden of proof would be on you to prove that that is the reason you were fired.  Your not going to win if you go to court expecting her to admit she fired you because you boned.

  3. You could file for unfair dismissal, as long as you have proof that sleeping with her was the reason the firm sacked you.  However if you have girlfriend, wife, kids etc probably not the best thing to put them through.  If nothing, you will get her into trouble, which she deserves - your paying the price and she should too!

  4. you can file if you have evidence of your dismissal being unfair - but this has nothing to do with your reference being good.  Basically it's actually illegal to give a bad reference unless there's a Very clear reason, and to get one means you can sue the pants off the person who gives it to you.  the courts view it that as the reference can affect your future job prospects and will award the ex-employee their prospective salary (and one case I know of they got that salary for 25 years ahead, paid for by the old boss who gave the poor reference).

You need to deal with your dismissal on its own merits and what happened, whether you had any warnings given about it, whether warnings were given formally and fairly in line with your employee handbook, whether you were the victim of sexual discrimination (and even sexual harassment where your boss exploited you sexually), and whether discrimination was used towards you because your boss took something from your private lives and used it against you in the work place, thereby abusing your right to privacy of home life (it's illegal to do that when it doesn't affect your job) and whether your employee confidentiality was breeched.  Any/all of these, but not the reference.

  5. Yes u can!! Go do it, dont let the ***** get away with it..

  6. Was she hot? And yea, file for unfair dismissal or tell the CEO what happened

  7. That's a lawyers dream.  Go for it

  8. yep, maybe lie and do her for sexual harrassment too! lie through our teeth and say she coaxed you into it.

are there any witnesses to anything?

  9. y on earth wud u sleep with ya boss??

  10. It must've not been that good if she fired you.

  11. I'm sure you can for just that yeah! That's so wrong for her to do that, she obviously wanted to jump into bed with you as well, it takes two to tango! xx Plus sleeping with her is not anything to do with your job, so therefore should not affect it!

If she's your boss, she should know better.

  12. It's illegal for her to give you a bad reference.

But you could have a go at unfair dismissal if you think there was no other reason for being fired other than sleeping with the boss.

  13. No way just be grateful u got a good reference mate............. Crikey on what grounds would u be wanting an unfair dismissal lol?

  14. Naw, just bang your next boss, you sly fox!!

  15. Yes

  16. It's not really all her fault. You had just as much a hand in this as she did. You slept with EACH OTHER.

  17. You could but if you loose the case she will retract her reference. Is it worth it?

  18. did she give you the great reference for a good performance in bed?

  19. I think that if you do that your gonna have  to tell everyone you slept with her and then she would get fired because she isn't supposed to sleep withe employees

So if you wanna get her in trouble!? GO FOR IT!!!!

  20. Ask an attorney! Sound like you have a chance to become her boss!

  21. why did she fire you?were you no hgood in the sack!! ; )...surely she should be giving you bonuses!!

I would file her for unfair dismissal..it takes two to tango!!
