I Used To Believe ? tell me unusual things you thought were true when you were a kid

When i was 4 i was convinced i had super binocular vision if i touched my index fingers to my thumbs and held them up close to my eyes. I also thought i could disguise myself if i puffed up my cheeks and walked with a limp. Clearly the neighbors thought i was retarted. lol

I thought adults could read kids minds.

That cows were female horses.

Same with cats and dogs.

I though I could breath underwater if I concentrated hard enough.

And that if I held my posture just right, people would not notice me at all, like being invisible.

And of course the whole Santa/Easter Bunny/Jesus silliness.

Looking back, I was a dumb kid.

I am marginally smarter now though.

that my dad could hear my every thought, very scary and psychologically damaging, it was.

That their was a monster under my bed and in my room. So If I jumped into bed and slept with the cover over my head he couldn't get me.

If I dropped food on the floor I thought it was OK after I blew on it "to get the germs off."
