step 1: find the best photographer within your budget and attainability.

step 2: shoot a portfolio

step 3: submit your book to as many agencies and industry people as possible

step 4: move to NYC or LA or Miami or Paris; ie: somewhere with a modeling industry

step 5: repeat steps one through three as often as needed

New Jersey and Philadelphia aren't really good places to do modeling work. You'd have to move to either New York, La/Hollywood, or Miami because that's where all the fashion shows and major agencies are located.

I would go to Tyra Banks' websites and see if there are any links on there about reputable modeling agencies. I wouldn't go out on my own because there are so many modeling scams, so I hope this helped :)
