I WANNA BUY A 1999 FORD MUSTANG, BUT.....?

it has 171,000 miles on it. Is it worth it???? how long do they usually last???? can anyone tell me?

Any car with that many miles will nickle and dime you to death,I would look for another car.

As long as the price is under $3,400, you should be OK. But keep in mind that many parts are already at thde end of their life cycle. Budget money for repairs accordingly.

You tell us. You are the one paying to get the car inspected before you buy.

The drivetrain is pretty solid from what I have researched, so I wouldn't personally be turned off by a well exercised car as long as it has not been beat to h**l and back.
