  1. I love my HP laptop/tablet.

check out the tx2500z at hp.cpm

  2. It all depends on what you do or want to do with it. If you're a designer that is going to be using Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Go with a Mac Book. But if you're some one who is going to be programming or using it for general use go with HP.

  3. Please don't cap all of what you type.

Basic break down is like this,

Toshiba - costs more in general but sometimes overpriced.

HP/Dell - ranges from cheap to expensive.

How hot it gets and how long life time depends on how much you are willing to pay. For the heat issue, it is best to get a CPU that is Intel Core 2 as it runs cooler than most other CPUs. Battery life can be changed easily on any laptop if you buy a better battery (which all laptop makers have)

  4. Do NOT buy a Dell. My husband bought a dell and its been a piece of S&%^ since he got it.

The CD drive went in the first 2 months. The entire hard-drive crashed in less than a year, and the screen went at exactly 1 year.

He took good care of it, but IMO they are just POS. Buy an HP.

  5. Any one of tehm are good - brand doesn't matter as much as what you're going to use it for.  Imaginbe if you'd seen somebody ask what car they should buy, offering only make, but not what KIND of car they wanted.  Could be an SUV, a hybrid, a compact, a big sedan.  Soem makes are better than others depending on what kind of car you get.

Any of the brands are good - heat does not becone a real issue unless you get a gaming laptop, because those must have a dedicated graphics card - a notorious source of heat.  Happily, something like 90% of laptops do without.

  6. Go MacBook.  Great laptop.

  7. LISTEN TO ME! ok, i got a dell laptop and desktop. i got my laptop about 4 yrs ago and i've used it like 7 hrs/day, and it's none of the high end stuff, just a plain, simple inspiron 2200. it runs on XP, so i guess thats why it's kinda fast (1 GB RAM, 1.7 GHz pentium processor). i've dropped it, left it on all night, spilled a little water, etc and it still runs great. i was lookin at dell's current inspiron laptops, and i would get the inspiron 1420. there's a bunch of coupons online (like at couponmountain.com, couponcabin.com, or retailmenot.com). the one i like is the 20% off if you make it $999 or above. it comes out to be like 800; thats $200 OFF!!! my aunt has toshiba (her second one actually) and they suck!

  8. HP if u want affordability and service.

  9. you'll be in h**l if you buy a DELL forget about them they Smell

  10. Some of the best laptops made are by a company called Asus. They are not overpriced like Dell and HP and do not listen to all the apple fanboys because it looks like your buying a PC. Check out the website. http://www.asus.com  and see what you find. E-mail me with any questions at Baseballplyer40@yahoo.com

  11. HP or HP Tablets are the BEST!!

Dells are weak and they don't last.

Toshibas hardware always gets messed up- bad company
