I WANT TO BE IN THE GYMNASTICS OLYMPICS.?

i have done gymnastics since i was around 4. i have switched back and forth from gymnastics to dance and so forth. i am 17 now and i havnt done full out gymnastics since i was 14 but i think i want to get back into it. i learn really well and that sort of stuff so do you think its completely impossible for me to become an olympian some day? also does anyone know any great gymnastics places in massachusetts that could help me to achieve my goal? thanks :)

  1. Nope, the next olympics you'll be 21.  How many 21 yr olds did you see?

    Anyway, you'd have to be a national-class competitor already at the age of 17 to have any chance.

    A more realistic goal would be to make the gymnastics team at a college.


  2. Well, I think you would have to try out for the olympic team. I would assume that you would have to already have been doing it at a higher competition level, or about Level 10. Just try out for the team. If you want to know what the olympic tryouts for USA are like, theres a video on youtube that shows the gymnastics team tryouts.

    Oh, and you probably won't be able to get to the olympics very soon, so I would reccommend that as a long-term goal and to aim for being on a team for now.
