  1. I think maybe you can take pictures of stuff and tell them a certain way you want them arranged on your wall and they'll make wallpaper of your pictures which would look nice.....i think.

  2. I'm kind of having a hard time picturing in my head what you're talking about but the look I THINK you're trying to acheive could easily be done by taking scrapbook paper and putting it in a picture frame and just making a scrapbook page and framing it.

Or just hang a huge bulletin board on your wall and decorate it with lots of cute ribbon and writing, and you can even use scrapbooking letters and stickers to decorate that.  IT's amazing what all you can do with ribbon!

  3. Poster frames can really make thinks look polished. Frames in general make things look more posh. Get a paper cutter so the edges of your selected pictures look really square and straight. When you put your photographs or clippings in the frames give each bit it's own space. Things look best when the amount of space around each is roughly equal both inside frames and between frames.

Everything should either be neatly spaced or everything should be fighting for space with not a spec of background showing. Glue the clippings to the wall and then do a clear coat over the whole thing to give it a nice sheen.

Good lighting also helps a bunch, try for soft daylight.

  4. it always looks cheesy.

  5. get some magazines and copy a room from there.

  6. my friend graffitied his room.

    it looks pretty cool.

you can buy like sketch cards and just paint them onto your wall.

the key to it, is not to write too much, just a few words here and there.

  7. mimic what you see in magazines. i recommend you flip through the pages of elle decor

  8. i don't think it looks cheesy that's how my room is

  9. get frames and don't just tape it to th wall. that's how it looks ugly.

Get frames and put your favourite pictures from magazines in it and it will look so glamourous!

  10. You just put the frikin pictures on the wall

there is no other way to do it...

The only way it will look cheesy is if you put up pictures of yourself...HA or the jonas brothers or hannah montana or jamie spears..HAHA

  11. It's pretty simple in the way you described it:

stock up on fashion magazines and cut out pictures of you and your friends and family. Find some inspirational phrases in funky lettering and colors too, which is where the writing comes in.

When you think you have somewhat of a collection, find a good spot on your blank wall and just start putting it all up there! Make sure your findings overlap each other too, so it looks like a collage.

or instead of making it one big collage, make littler collages and frame them

    good luck!

  12. I used a site called www.thesimplestencil.com to put quotes on my wall and they looked so nice. The website lets you design your own quote or pick from pre-designed quotes. They have a lot of artsy stuff to that you can stick on...it is really easy to do. Trust me, If I can do it, anyone can.

I have not removed mine yet but supposedly they don't damage the surface and so you don't have to paint over it and you can just take it down when your ready.

You may want to try them, because you can design it and see it for yourself before you buy you can make sure it doesn't look cheesy.

    Good Luck

  13. You could put the pictures up with coordinating backings (like all against blue felt, for example), or perhaps in frames that allow multiple pictures. Another idea would be to do a collage. You can temporarily place the pieces with masking tape until you're sure where you'd like to locate them. With the writing, you could practice calligraphy on scratch paper until you get good at it, and then put it up. Some companies make custom signs. I think a custom neon sign would be interesting and kind of original.

  14. No shame in making your room look interesting. If you can afford it, use frames, or not that then use poster-sticker-squares.
