I WANT TO MEET MICHAEL PHELPS?

i am a big fan and i live in new jersey.....is there a chance i could meet him.....he is just sooooo cute!!!but he is very old for me i'm 12 and he is 23.......

i go to a santa clara international meet every year in santa clara, cali.  mike is usually swimming there every year just as a practice meet, i have met him and i have also swam in the same heat as him in the meet(he was swimming 100 breastroke so i guess that is not saying much) and i can tell you right now he is not that great to meet.  My friend at the meet once asked him if he could have one of his ipods that he wins and mike walked away from him.  lol wat a d**k

(the guy is an out of this world swimmer, and if you have never even seen him in real life i guess that would be pretty exciting.  but i have seen him more than enough times and i have swam in the same heat is him and once again its not that great.)

edit: Sports Fanatic......you say he is not that great of a guy to meet? Why, just because he wouldn't give your friend a free ipod? The guy is human. Just because someone goes up to him and talks to him......doesn't mean he has to oblige. Maybe he wants to be left alone and not bothered all the time. Ever think of that?

I'm 18 and don't think I have a chance either!  So many girls are after him now. I just hope he ends up with one who loves him for him and not his celebrity status. You could still definitely meet him though! Here's a link that might help you. Best of luck, let us know if you do get to meet him!

Wow stalking! I'm sorry honey, but you are 12, you still have tons of growing up to do. Crushes on celebrities are not crushes at all, they are fantasies, dellusional and not real. You do not know anything about the person. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just not wanting you to get your hopes up. Your chances of meeting him are slim, and your chances of what I'm sure you want to happen (for you two to fall in love) aren't really chances at all. I'm only saying this because at your age (9 years ago) I felt the same way sometimes. I now know better.
