i am trying to start a website me hosting and i have one but he doesnt work with me closely i dont have a lawyer but i dont want to do anything illegal or hurt anyones feelings i want to start a website using tusk as the name and it is because of fleet wood mac and other reaselons and am i all over the place it is a website for him to shop and for her i started publishing but i am confused i even have pandoras music but i am acknowledging and giving credit to yahoo and my space and i am just over whelmed i really need the feed back

Yes, of course it is legal because every one have the rights for it. But make it check that the name which you want to keep is not taken by someone else as his or her domain.
