  1. Depends on how high ranking the job is. Anything below management, don't sweat it. They know people are nervous. For low level jobs, many people don't have much exp, so they know you're not confident in the field yet. For management, they expect you worked in the field and know your stuff, so what should you be worried about?

Also for future reference, happiness doesn't mean everything. During interviews, as long as the interviewee is polite, I return the politeness and smile out of respect -- nothing more. Some people are just stone cold -- will not break a smile for the whole interview. My co-worker, she's a very friendly person. She will smile and try to get the person to relax as much as possible. A smile from her means nothing. So it all depends on the personality of the employer to determine if the smile means anything.

Only point where I get concerned about hiring someone for having a shaky voice and lost of thought is if they seemed like they were on drugs. Other than that, if you got the right stuff, don't worry about it. For low level positions, I always pick the newcomer with a little bit of experience who was a bit nervous rather than the overconfident pompous jerk who knows it all. If they don't hire you, every day there's more job openings.

  2. Because i m not confideantal.
