I Wan't to be Home-schooled?

Question

Hi, I want to be home schooled but every time i mention it to my mom, she goes mad and says no straight away, I have got 2 years left at high school, but its been getting me realy depressed and i absolutely hate school and everything about it =[. Do you need premision from the school if you want to be home schooled? Ive been thinking of all sorts to get me out out school and they have been getting really bad. Every time i think about school it makes me feel sick. i know it sounds stupid but thats how bad it is. My mom won't listen to me at all. Ive even been thinking about running away so i dont have to go to school =[. And my mom says it costs alot of money and says she can't teach me anything.

Hey!  I'm sorry for your current position. I was homeschooled as of last year, and this year I convinced my mom to let me go to highschool.  Before that I've been homeschooled my whole life.  Pretty awesomeness!! There are alot of free online homeschooling programs currently available.  There is even one that you get afree computer with.  If you msg me, I'll look my best to find the number for you!

not all home school programs  cost a lot of money. unless it's through a private school and it's a home school program then it will cost

but most of those don't go over  $ 1000 a year. you don't need ''permission'' necessarily your mother needs to send a letter to your principal stating effective from a certain date she is withdrawing you from the school.depending on your age you may still have to notify the school superintendent  every year that you are in school. you should look up the compulsory education age requirement in your state. best of luck*

Whoever would teach you at home school must be accredited by the

state in order for you to get a GED. I am not sure what each state requires but usually elementary grades are easier to get accredited for home teaching.  Check you internet and see if you can bring up this

very thing. They do have college courses by internet that you can get

Don't run away-that will not solve your problems. There's a book you might want to read called Do Hard Things. Life is sometimes hard but when your do the difficult things, it makes you stronger.
