I'm Confused, I have No HDMI Neither DVI Only Component But My TV Specs Says

16:9 Enhanced Mode --- delivers maximum picture quality by concentrating all viewable scan lines (up to 1080i on Hi-Scan® circuitry equipped models) within the letterbox image. Displays anamorphic widescreen content in its full detail. What Does This Mean? Can My PS3 View 1080i???

Here Are My TV Specs http://www.abt.com/product/12829.html

If You Can Research The Model Number Because Some Websites Indicate Its 480i Lines Max Im not Sure But This Says Viewable Scan Lines Up To 1080i???. I Appreciate Your Answers; Thanks

  1. If you want true HD , that is , you want to see the blu-ray technology inside your PS3 you will need to upgrade your TV to a screen that has a resolution of 1920x1080p and also has HDMI Inputs.

Until you buy a new TV with these specs you will never view true HD or blu-ray technology as your current TV set does not have the HDMI Input and I doubt that it is 1080i as it is a CRT TV.
