I Want To Become A Sales Agent?

I want to make a career change and move into the sales direction. I am currently a Warehouse Manager and don't know exactly how or what to sell. I have been in Warehouse Management for about 8 years and just need to make more money that $40K a year. Yeah, imagine that $40K a year as a Warehouse Manager, this is because of my education barrier. I only posses a H.S. Diploma. This is why I would like to become a sales agent instead. I have come across people that are sales agents and they make well with there position. The only thing is that most of them are in positions that pay them salary plus commission. I am unable to get into one of those positions because I have not track record of good sales. If anyone has any suggestions, please reply.
