  1. I found my 4 month old gp on craigslist and she came with

    the cage

one and a half bag of beeding

    food

    vitamin c liquid drops

    water bottle

    lil costle thing

    and food dish

    and wheel

    FOR FREE!!!

u have to look every day and sometimes all day or you can go to pet finder

  2. Why on earth do you want to buy your guinea pig over the Internet?

You're best visiting your local rescue shelter.

  3. Look on this website below. It's the Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue. They really make sure that their pigs are going to good homes. You have to go pick them up though. NO guinea pig adoption agency "ships" guinea pigs.

  4. Check Petfinder.com.  You can find all ages of guinea pigs there in your area, in need of home.  Don't take any shipped guinea pigs.  They don't deal with shipping well.

Your guinea pigs need to live with another pig for health reasons.  They do not do well alone.  You need large cages for this.  The minimum size cage for two pigs is 7 square feet; larger is better.  If you can't accommodate a cage of that size for each pair of pigs, don't own guinea pigs.  They are not easy to take care of and you're not doing it right if you're making them live alone.

  5. petfinder.com

  6. You shouldn't.

Anyone who ships their guinea pigs is a moron.

If you're willing to /collect/, then places like Craigslist and Petfinder is always good, or Freeads if you're in the UK.

But don't look for ANY live animal online that are sent to you, because it probably won't survive the journey to your house, and, if they do, they'll be effected and maybe even sick, and it's very irresponsible for you to make an animal suffer in that way.

    So be prepared to collect.

On the plus side, if you are prepared to collect, animals on Petfinder/Craigslist tend to be cheap or even free, so the rest of that $25 can go on petrol to get to the location.

But don't be an irresponsible person and ask for the animal to be sent to you. They'll suffer and could arrive dead or very ill, including injured from mishandling on the journey.

  7. Don't BUY, ADOPT, adopt from:

    http//www.petfinder.com/

Because so many pets in their care are looking for homes and they can't seem to find any

So please for their poor sake adopt

  8. I would prefer  (theguineapigrescue.com/photo) or ( petfinder.com) they tell you age group size ,s*x and even give a photo or tell you there camera shy

  9. Why would you want to purchase a live animal online, without meeting the animal and knowing the situation he/she is currently living in?

The living condition & overall appearance of an animal can tell a whole different story than what's written by the person getting rid of them.

If you purchase an animal without looking into the health/condition, and just care about the price...well..you'll get what you paid for, and that's usually not a positive thing.

Check Petfinder & Craigslist for local guinea pigs in need of a new home.
