I Want To Cosplay...?

okay im not exactly rich, so how can i make cosplay costumes at home? thank you to all the people who help!!! (ps: Naruto cosplaying)

I do cosplaying as well, For Sasuke, Itachi, Orochimaru, and soon I will be doing Neji and Hinata.

However, there are alot of websites where you can buy materials at a cheaper price.

Just who do you want to be exactly anyway?

Anywho, you can buy Kunai's (fake and plastic of course) from places like F.Y.E. or ToysRus.

F.Y.E., Hottopic, and ToysRus also have naruto village forehead protectors, and gloves.

For the actual character...well it all depends on who you want to be.

Sasuke might for instance, be easier than Naruto.

All I can say is, find the base for who you want to play. As in, for Naruto, find an orange jacket and pants suit. For Sasuke, white khaki shorts and a blue hooded jacket. (Unless you want to do him in Shippuden) or who ever else.

Then begin on adding the details. Cut the sleeves off of the blue jacket short. Or cut out pieces of black cloth and sew them in places where Naruto's jacket is black.

Ultimately though, you can end up getting your point across :]

well.. we had an anime convention earlier this year, and tons of people cosplayed. One of my friends wanted to cosplay Itachi, but she didn't have the money or time to invest.So instead she got red cloth, cut out the clouds of Itachi's coat, and sewed/stuck it on a denim skirt she had. She borrowed a friend's Leaf Headband, wore black boots, a black shirt, red accessories, black eyeliner, basically anything that she had that would fit into her theme.

She did not look like Itachi of course, but we can tell she wanted to be a die hard Akatsuki member! =D

There's that, or you can just invest in one article of clothing that defines the character. I wanted to cosplay a character who, on many occasions, wears a long purple jacket.. I was going to buy cloth to make the jacket alone (but couldn't find purple velvet >_<)
