I Want To Have A Halloween Party in October, how can I go ahead with the plan??

I need a way to ask/beg my mom. I never had one, i'm going to be 16 when Halloween comes.(september birthday) What can I do at the party, and costumes?? yes or no to the costumes?? What could I be?? Food?? Ideas/Games?? Anything is helpful. Thanks!!!

I LOVE Halloween parties. And I am planning a 16th Birthday party for by brother in October - a pirate/Halloween theme!

Halloween parties are always the best (in my opinion) when you have a theme. One of my favorite sites for Halloween party planning is Party411.com.

If you budget is low for decorations I recommend playing up just one thing - spiderwebs. Buy a few packages of the cheap spiderwebs and string them everywhere. Next, buy a few black light to make them glow. The effect will be amazing considering the money spent, I promise you.

If your not a cook, order pizza. Make sure to serve lots of candy. Buy some pop and put it on ice. Easy peasy.

You can also do a scavenger hunt if you want to have an activity. make a list of inexpensive items (match book, TV guide from last week, yellow pencil, etc) and split into teams to see who can collect the whole list first.
