I Want To Start Making AMV's, I Have The Will But Not The Way!!?

uhh well i have gotten into anime a while ago and i wanna make some AMV's like the guys on youtube lol. ANYWAY yeah im kinda stuck, iv got the will but i dont have the way. I need help with what programs and how to use and how to use em and if you could throw in some tips that'll be great too. Thanks for Helping ^^

Ok, so you wanna make AMV's ne?? Well you need 3 general things.

1.) Music - Pick music you like that reminds you of a specific *or chosen* anime/game/movie watever.

2.) Anime *game/movie* Clips! - It's not extremely hard to get anime video clips. Find a website that has free anime downloads of episodes or clips. Alot of good quality episodes *or clips* will be in AVI format, so you might need an AVI to MPEG converter. Just type in "free AVI to MPEG converter" in your favorite search engine and it should come up with a few choices. **NOTE: You may have to search for a few days to find the good clips, DUBBED anime works better for AMV's because then you don't have the annoying subtitles at the bottom of your AMV!!**

3.) Windows Movie Maker!! I know, how drole. But it's one of the first "movie editing" programs I learned how to use. It's simple and can do quiet a few different things if you can figure out how to manipulate the program ~.^ Play around with it a little, make a couple of scrap movies, nothing serious at first, just to get the feel of the program! **NOTE: When you open Windows Movie Maker, the bottom of the screen will show a "banner" that's where u insert your clips. I find it easier to use "Timeline" instead of "Storyboard"**

Sorry I can't give you a full blown tutorial with all the tips n' tricks, but I gaurantee that you'll get the hang of it soon! I was about 14 when I made my 1st AMV and I was completely self taught.
