It's the absolute worst idea you can have.  Young cats who have litters get very stressed and their health is drained from pregnancy and nursing. Every day there are thousands of cats and kittens killed in shelters and on the streets because there aren't enough homes for them all. It's a myth that cats have to have a litter at least once. It's also a myth that kids need to experience the miracle of life through a cat's pregnancy. Please have her spayed and don't contribute to the crisis of pet overpopulation.  Take a trip to a shelter and see for yourself. You won't believe your eyes and it will make you change your mind if you have a heart.

No, they don't "need" it.

It's actually kinder to save her from it by spaying her before she gets pregnant.

If you want more cats please visit a shelter or rescue, there are so many desperately needing homes already.

if she is a pure breed it makes some sense  but if she does not have papers and you dont have a male of the same breed it makes no sense. there are tons of cats out there haveing kittens and lots are being put down becuse they cant find home.  I would get her fix there are no health resons for letting her have a litter.  if you want more kittens you could adopt them  or even find some for free  let not create more homeless kittys.

NO, NO and NO!!!!!! Please get your cat spayed asap!! Do not add to the over population of unwanted animals :( Her kittens will just end up in a shelter with no homes and most likely will be killed. Please be responsible and get her spayed immediately. It could cause major health problems for your cat too.

Actually, I would not advise letting your cat have kittens, there are so many homeless cats and kittens because people say "I just want my cat to have one litter" but in all honesty I've seen a cat have 8 kittens once and unless you have forever homes for them all, (and even then) I don't think that you should let her. Get her spayed. And if you want more cats go to your local animal shelter and adopt an older cat who would otherwise be put down because it's kitten season.

No, its bad idea.  Your cat does not have to have kittens to make her feel complete.  Get her spayed as soon as the vet says to.  If you want more kittens, go to the shelter and save some lives.  Don't add more to the cat population.
