I Want to buy a dove.I NEED INFO ON TAKING CARE?

i want to have a dove but i have almost no idea on what to expect from a doves behavior and i need to know how to keep it alive.

Hello.

For doves , it is not hard to take care of them . You need a suitable cage for it ( bigger cage than a cockateil 's cage ) you give it seed ( I feed my doves wild birds seed mix  safflowers seed , sun flower seed and medium cracked corn . ) You also give it some grit and eggs shells ( when you eat the eggs, save the shells , bake it in 3 minutes for killing all the bacteria ) crumble it into smaller and serve the dove the shell mix with grit . Ofcourse with fresh water every day and it would be very happy . TM.
