I Went In And Said Is This Can Of Pop Out Of Date Because It Had Dust On it !!! :( So The Man Said Oh Dont Be So Silly Get Out !!! Who Is In the Wrong Here !! ???

the owner is wrong. he should have given you a new can. i own a cafe, and if a customer complains about their food/drink, i would happily replace it. statistics show that customers talk about bad experiences at restaurants more often than good.

Just because it had dust on it doesn't mean it's out of date! Did you check the expiration or best if used by date? Anyways he should have just let you have another one.

Store owner is wrong here. Very simple to replace the item and keep a customer. We as consumers will tell about 16 people a negative experience, while we will tell maybe 2 about a positive experience. You are right he is wrong.

I wouldn’t have made the big deal over a coke can, but he’s clearly in the wrong here - he’s likely lost a customer for life. Very bad business on his part.

Do not wipe the dust off! Wash the can if you must but it is better not to drink directly out of cans.

You are quite within your rights to ask for  a cleaner can or your money refunded particularly if you have no method of decanting your drink into another container before consuming it.

These cans often sit around in infested warehouses and the back of shops, where rats can run over them undetected and leave behind the makings of Weil's disease.

his customer service leaves a lot to be desired.  dust on the can does not mean is out of date.  You could have just washed it off and it would be ok. That way you would avoid a conflict.

He sounds kind of angry though, and from what you've said I would say that he was in the wrong as after all - you were just asking a question.
