I Would like to get my collection of Poetry Publish as a book.?

I want to make royalties, but do not want to spend alot if any in start up costs. I've never done this before and don't want to get a bad deal. Can someone with some knowledge on this lead me through the proccess?

    You'll need to get a copy of Writer's Market for the current year. It's good to buy the copy so you can mark literary agents you'll be sending query letters to. You can't do that with a library copy.

    Make sure your spelling and grammar are up to par in your work. When you've found an agent you'd like to contact about representation, make sure you follow the guidelines set down in their webpage. They usually have a webpage, telephone and address listed. Many of them also allow email queries.

    Your query letter should look professional. You can go online and look at a few of them. Just make sure you have your letter neat and free of errors as well.
