  1. Good man yourself.Pat yourself on the back, today we hear so much negative press about teenagers, you are a shinning example of what young people are really like.

Make sure to get some open water trainning as well as pool work, research wgat food and drinks you will need.

I'm a member of a 7 person team,we all have had transplants, and we are due to swim the channel in the week starting 23rd August.I train in the pool so the coldness of the open water has been hard to get used to.

Good luck to you and you will find massive support for your swim.

  2. I would SUPPORT you!!!

  3. In my experience, having just done the same distance but in a pool, people may say 'you're mad' but they actually have a great deal of respect for you.

I had massive support for my swim and would have given up at 11 miles without it.

Train hard! Research nutrition - I sufferred from a lack of energy part way through. And think of what will keep you going when it gets hard - singing, counting strokes, thinking about your stroke etc

The Channel is another ambition of mine but maybe a couple of years for now. You have my support and respect mate! Good luck!

  4. good luck, hope you succeed

  5. Do you mean the English Channel?

You know, there are alot of different channels in the world.

Anyways, to your answer, I think it is a great achievement. Good luck.

  6. yeah i think that's great, especially as you r doing it for charity not just your own personal achievement. Why would it be stupid???!!

    Good luck!
