Go to the control panel and then to performance and maintenance and the click on the system icon and you will be show all the devices attached to your system. Expand the sound devices when you will see your sound card device marked with a yellow question mark. If it is not present then try an option in action menu by the name" scan for new hardware" click then your sond card will become visible. Right click on it and click update driver. It will ask you for automatic update dicard this option and click the update manually option and after that another window will appear click on the last option do not search driver and then click next you will be shown your sound device and click next it will pick up the driver from the driver database which windows store in system 32.
