I accidentally added my SSN on the request letter....?

I just checked my TransUnion credit report and found out my DOB is incorrect. So I mailed them a request letter to have them correct it. My problem is, I also provided my SSN on the letter. Will it be a problem?

I agree with Tyla, it's done now, just don't do it again.

Probably not, but don't give your SSN again unless it's on a secure page. There's nothing you can do about it now but be careful from now on.
