I accidentally broke my friends chair reclining lever...What can I use to fix plastic wood material...?

It's the little lever thing on the right side that you pull and the footstool of the chair pops up. And I accidentally was pulling it and it just snapped off and she was pretty mad, but the material is like plastic but looks like wood...so I guess it's just plastic...but what should I do to try to re-attach it?

Get some five minute epoxy.

I'd guess the power shift to 2nd gear got the best of the shifter... I mean lever.  I doubt that any glue or epoxy will be able to hold the two pieces together.  Lever might be able to be ordered.
