I accidentally dilated my eye with tap water. What do I do?

I am wearing sunglasses. Is there anything else I should do for the sake of saving my poor eye?

tap water won't hurt your eye.

You'll be fine. Next time, though, use a saline solution instead of water.

Answer 3

Attach several small needles to your eyelashes like a venus flytrap.  If anything tries to get in there, just blink several times to stop it.

Also, a 2:1 mixture of lemon juice and salt have been shown to decrease eye dilation.
