  1. if youre using any form of window, right click the desktop and select properties select the tab settings, and adjust the screen resolution to your personal liking

  2. Are you on a Mac? If so, I can help.

    -click on the desktop.

-press command-j (the command button has an apple logo and a clover leaf logo on it, it is just to the left of the space bar.)

-use the Icon Size slider to change the size of your icons

If the problem is not on the desktop, follow the same steps, but instead of clicking on the desktop, just open the window.

If none of this works, then look at other things: the menu bar, windows, etc. If everything looks too big, not just the icons, then you most likely changed the resolution of your screen. To fix this: Open system preferences (in the apple menu), click "displays", and choose the highest resolution available from the list.

  3. First try right clicking on the desktop and going to view and clicking on classic icons. if that doesnt work try right clicking and going to graphics properties and display settings and set the resolution to the highest. (for me it is 1600 x 1050)
