I wasn't reading the package, but here is what I ended up grabbing off the shelf.

  1. They will be fine - it will not hurt them.

  2. no it dont matter they all consist of seeds and stuff dont worry bout it it fine

  3. It fine, i do it the other way around feeding hamster food to gerbils it doesn't matter two much just don't keep doing it to much.

  4. It is fine.  The dietary requirments of hamsters and gerbils are very similar so you can finish the bag before you need to buy hamster food.

  5. Don't worry.

    Your hamsters should be fine.

All rodents eat the rodent food, and there are some food packs which are just made for rodents as a mix of gerbil/guinea pig/hamster/rat food.

So, your hammy should be fine, because it ate something healthy.

Hamsters even eat dog and cat food (although I only recommend the dog/cat biscuits), so a rodent food is not a problem.

If the gerbil food you fed it is better than your normal hamster mix (do some research on the web to find out the ingredients, because i can't see them on here) then you can also feed the hammy the gerbil food.

Don't worry, your hamster is fine, and will do great as long as you don't feed it chocolates or cooked hamsters!

    lol

    EDIT:

It might not be a good idea to continue feeding it to finish the bag.

But yes, you can probably mix the gerbil food with the hamster mix and feed it, in that way your hamster should be safe, and healthy, and will get the right nutrients.

  6. of course not! most hampsters LOVE guinnea gerbil food, there really isnt a diffrence. some gerbil food is the same as hampster, seed, dried core, stuff like thta, dont worrie! :D

  7. They'll be fine. The diet is very similar. Do I recommend to continue to feed it to them on a daily basis? No. I am not saying it is harmful...it just doesn't have the nutrients they need.

  8. Your hamster should be fine. Many brands of food advertise that they are good for mice/rats/hamsters/gerbils. It is not a big deal and your hamster will be fine.

  9. they should live

  10. it's fine. the only difference is the nutritional values and all it is is that gerbils need a higher protein diet cos they are so hyper.
