I don't know how things work in lewisville, but I know here in Texas as long as you don't do it excessively, they won't ticket you. Still, don't make a habit of it, thats for sure :)

I don't know about the ticket cost. it depends on you town area.

If you ever come in to this situratio again and there is a sunpass ramp take it and pass through with out stoping. and If you get stop by the cops just tell him/her that you were not fiamliar with area,

It worked for me plent of times.
