  1. Check the fuse box. You might have one in the car itself, or it might be under the hood. Find all fuses for the things that aren't working properly, and check that they aren't "burned out" or broken. If the fuses are fine, you probably burned out your radio. I did this once to a radio, and it will cost more to fix than to buy a new one. Good luck (and in the future, if you are messing with grounds, I would unplug the negative (ground) of your battery, so no power will be presesnt, then you won't have any chance of a connection.

  2. check the fuse...should be labeled radio/intlghts (interior lights)

  3. Yeah I did that once, its just a blown fuse. The fuse should be labelled radio or just check for a blown one.

Any store that has fuses should have them, like a hardware store. Its a very cheap fix.

If this radio is new then most likely it has a fuse in the back, so I doubt your radio is fried.

  4. Everything is supposed to be fuse protected so you probably blew a fuse. they aren't expensive  set of fuses would cost around $2.50 unless you have a super late model that has some of the new style they are a bit more maybe a dollar, or some of the specialty fusees that can get quite high, around $6.00 each

  5. You almost certainly blew the fuse.

    Get that checked out.

    Good Luck...
