I accidentally put a couple of ounces of motor oil into the gas part of my lawnmower.

Question

Will this cause any harm to it? It's my neighbors that I borrowed.

Roll it over to poor most of the oil out.  The check the oil and gas and cut the grass.  At most it will smoke until all the oil is run out of it and will foul the plug.

i have actually done something simular to this before. I put mixed gas for my weed eater in my riding mower. It smoked like crazy till all the oil in the tank was gone. I had to change the spark plug shortly there after, now weather the oil had anything to do with it or not I don't know. but as far as any serious damage you should have nothing to worry about.

youll be fine just add more gas to the mower,it will smoke a little and foul the spark plug,but will do no real damage .
